Wuthering Heights Book Coaster

Description:

Storm light over the moors — a wind-bent tree, Heathcliff and Cathy beneath it, the title sweeping across the sky in white script, all framed in black with the vintage paperback's dramatic tagline up top. A handmade coaster modeled after a little hardback, spine and all.

In 1978 — 131 years after the novel appeared — Wuthering Heights climbed the pop charts. A nineteen-year-old Kate Bush spent four weeks at number one in Britain with a song of the same name, sung in Cathy's voice at Heathcliff's window, and it was the first UK number one ever written entirely by the woman who sang it. She and Emily Brontë even share a birthday: July 30.

Why you'll love it:

• A vintage paperback cover in storm colors — the moor, the tree, and the pair beneath it — in full color
• Handmade from reclaimed wood and shaped like a miniature hardback, printed spine and all
• Fully sealed with a semigloss high-performance top coat — condensation and spills wipe clean
• Felt feet on the back keep your table free of scratches

Perfect for: moor walkers, gothic hearts, or anyone who turns the radio up when Cathy starts singing.
