Sense and Sensibility Book Coaster

Description:

Spring green and yellow — Art Nouveau vines curling the full height of the cover, blossoms opening at every turn, the title set in clean white among the stems. A handmade coaster modeled after a little hardback, spine and all.

Sense and Sensibility waited 184 years for its first trip to the cinema. Television got there first, but no film did until 1995 — and when it finally arrived, the screenplay won the Academy Award. It had taken Emma Thompson five years of drafts to write, and she played Elinor on screen as well.

Why you'll love it:

• An Art Nouveau garden of a cover in green and yellow — curling vines and blossoms edge to edge
• Handmade from reclaimed wood and shaped like a miniature hardback, printed spine and all
• Fully sealed with a semigloss high-performance top coat — condensation and spills wipe clean
• Felt feet on the back keep your table free of scratches

Perfect for: level-headed readers, wholehearted ones, and any home that keeps one of each.
