Description:
A small ceramic vase inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby — cover artwork in black and gold. Compact enough for any desk or shelf. Add dried stems, a single flower, or leave it empty — it looks the part either way.
Fitzgerald finished The Great Gatsby in 1925 and believed it was his masterpiece. It wasn't. The novel sold poorly — fewer than 20,000 copies in its first year — and Fitzgerald died in 1940 thinking he'd been forgotten. It was the U.S. Army that brought the book back. During World War II, they printed 155,000 copies as part of the Armed Services Editions — small paperbacks sent to soldiers overseas. A generation of young men read Gatsby in foxholes and on transport ships. By the time they came home, the novel had found its audience. It hasn't left the bestseller lists since.
Why you'll love it:
- The Great Gatsby cover art in black and gold
- Sculpted ceramic pages with a handcrafted feel
- Works as a vase for small arrangements or standalone decor
- Compact enough for bookshelves, desks, or windowsills
Perfect for: Gatsby fans, lovers of jazz-age style, or a gift that doesn't need explaining.
