Description:
A two-deck playing card set inspired by Louisa May Alcott's Little Women — beautifully illustrated with character cameos and motifs from the story, stored in a book-shaped keepsake box.
The March sisters played card games, put on theatrical performances, and created their own newspaper — The Pickwick Portfolio — in their living room. Alcott drew all of this from her real childhood. The four Alcott sisters did everything together. The playing cards, the theatricals, the family newspaper — all real. Little Women isn't just based on her family. In many chapters, it practically is her family.
Why you'll love it:
Two illustrated decks with Little Women character cameos and motifs
Book-shaped keepsake box that looks at home on a shelf or coffee table
Detailed enough to display, functional enough to actually play with
The kind of gift that gets used and talked about
Perfect for:Book clubs, game nights, Alcott fans, or anyone who thinks a deck of cards should be worth looking at.
